MY FJ40
So I just got my FJ 40, started working on it, I'm wrench-fu level of "Total newb"
Current goal insured registered and street legal.
So Far:
Got the Blinkers and Headlights working, all though part of it occurred "magically" when i wasn't looking, which is a sure sign it'll stop working eventually just as mysteriously (Got the running lights and the left turn signal working, wandered around looking at wires and tightening and wiggling stuff. Checking current at fuses that kind of stuff, connected up to wires to the right headlight and all the lights on the outside, except the license plate light started working,about 20 minlater whiel i was not working. Does anyone have mirrors on the walls in your shop to make this kind of stuff more noticeable?
Hooked up clutch, fabbing a clutch lever to replace the missing one on my edelbrock 1405 4 barrel 600cfm carb.
Did a seat bracket reversal to give me a couple more inches, it was easy but had to
drill new holes for the front two mounts to make it work, need to make a custom plate and get that last inch that's left.
Need to finish registration,
Fix gauge cluster lights
Fix Rear License plate light
Check front license plate light
Add a an led so I know when the ignition circuit is on or not. (it's gotten me twice this weekend)
and replace the cracked fuel filter.(for which i need more info on the engine)
